Pregnancy can be an exciting as well as fearful time. There are many changes to your body, relationships and emotional life. Pregnancy can produce changes in your own sense of self and in your relationships. Therapy can help you to address your worries about pregnancy, changes in your body, labor delivery, parenting and relationships.

Being less stressed and anxious will improve your physical management of pregnancy and the labor/delivery process. We believe strongly in accessing support with motherhood and will offer resources that are right for you and your pregnancy.

At Mindful Families, pregnant and new parents are assessed for need and options for supportive and education-based therapy are discussed. Parents are provided with education on postpartum depression/anxiety and screened as needed. 

All Mindful Families providers have completed the Postpartum Support International 2-day certificate program and are members of the Pregnancy and Postpartum Support Minnesota provider resource directory.

Mindful Families welcomes you to bring your baby to session. We encourage you to care for your baby in session whether you are bottle or breast feeding. We have a changing table, feeding pillow and diapers/wipes available for your convenience.
